Jeremy W. Harris, Esq.
Managing Partner
Jeremy W. Harris, a founding partner of the firm, has extensive trial and appellate court experience in complex litigation, with a special focus on the defense of claims involving wrongful death, paralysis, amputations, traumatic brain injury, and other serious injuries. These claims can result from a multitude of alleged causes, including construction site accidents and collapses, road construction accidents, commercial trucking and car accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and products liability, to name a few.
Mr. Harris serves as defense counsel from accident investigation to trial (and beyond if necessary) and also serves as monitor counsel/trial counsel for large claims that need a second look or additional help due to the complexity of the claims. When asked to join ongoing litigation, his approach is to immediately and forcefully take all action necessary to ready a case for trial.
Mr. Harris’s judicial philosophy involves every action being taken only if it is a purposeful step towards a favorable end result for his clients, whether that involves litigating a matter to conclusion or providing the best possible platform for settlement.
Adam R. Schlossberg, Esq.
Managing Partner
With nearly two decades of experience, Adam R. Schlossberg is a seasoned attorney, with an extensive litigation background. Mr. Schlossberg's practice focuses primarily on the defense of all manner of catastrophic injury cases, including paralysis, wrongful death, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, and other serious injuries. Mr. Schlossberg has represented a broad range of clients, including individuals, small-business owners, trucking companies, national retailers, hotels and resorts, commercial property owners, and large corporations in complex and high-exposure matters, from the pre-suit stage through trial.
Prior to helping found the firm, Mr. Schlossberg spent over 18 years practicing primarily in the area of insurance defense, where he defended clients in various premises liability, negligent security, automobile negligence, property damage, and personal injury cases.
Kristina A. Sargent, Esq.
Managing Partner
Kristina Sargent is a founding partner of Harris, Schlossberg & Sargent, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on civil and criminal defense. A seasoned trial attorney with a reputation for precision, preparation, and results, Ms. Sargent is known for taking a direct, no-nonsense approach to litigation and aggressively advocating for her clients at every stage of a case.
Ms. Sargent began her legal career as a prosecutor in Baltimore City, where she gained extensive courtroom experience prosecuting violent crimes, and tried dozens of cases to verdict. After relocating to Florida, she continued her prosecutorial career by serving as a prosecutor in Sarasota/Manatee County. She later transitioned into civil litigation, where she has represented individuals, businesses, and insurers in a wide range of matters, including negligence, premises liability, and high-exposure claims. Known for her sharp legal analysis and commanding courtroom presence, she a trusted advocate for her clients both in and out of the courtroom.
In addition to her legal practice, a distinguishing aspect of Ms. Sargent’s background is her service in the United States Army, where she served for over 15 years in both active duty and reserve capacities.
